English Book
The French title of Gonçalo Amaral’s book, “A Verdade da Mentira,” is, “Maddie: L’Enquête Interdite,” The Forbidden Investigation.
This is the Foreword from the French version.
“Certainly, this book responds to the need I felt to defend myself, having been discredited by the institution for which I worked for more than twenty-six years, without being given any chance to explain myself, publicly or within the institution itself. I made the request several times, but it was never heard. I, therefore, scrupulously respected the rules of the police judiciaire and I refrained from making any comment. But this goes without saying: I experienced that silence to which I was constrained as an attack on my dignity. Later, I was removed from the investigation. It was then that I understood that it was time to speak. To do that, I requested early retirement in order to be able to express myself freely.
However, the purpose of this work is more important: to contribute to finding the truth so that justice can finally be done in the investigation known as the “Maddie case.” Truth and justice are two values strongly anchored within me, which reflect my profound beliefs: they always guided the work I did for the institution to which I am proud to have belonged. Even in retirement, they continue to inspire me and to be present in my life.
In no way does this text seek to challenge the work of my colleagues in the police judiciaire or to compromise the ongoing investigation. I am convinced that the disclosure of all the facts may, in the present case, result in harming the investigation. However, the reader will have access to unpublished information, to new interpretations of events – always with respect for the law – and, of course, to relevant enquiries.
The only objective of a criminal investigation is the search for truth. There is no place for the “politically correct.”

What has happened to the Madeleine Foundation website?
Surely McCann is not going to get away with supressing free speech along with his other crimes.
If as it appears he is so fond of resorting to litigation, why doesn’t he sue the Doctors Gaspar for their statement made to Leicestershire Police alleging paedophile activity by him and his accomplice Payne.
Could it be for the same reason that he has so far avoided meeting Inspector Amaral in a Portuguese Court.
Awash with money from his claims he must think he is on a roll. Goebels has nothing on this man, he must be brought to book.

The claim is bogus because the McCanns are giving those images of Madeleine out as free downloads on their own website. I should get it sorted later today and back online. The copyright claims dept. are not the most efficient dept. at the hosting company.

Just finished reading the original version ( I am Portuguese) and I can tell you that though I didn’t had any doubts that the McCanns were guilty, I was surprised by Gonçalo Amaral many hints of friends in high places being responsible for helping that horrible couple. But why ? I can’t find a good enough reason, after all Portugal is a member of the EEC, if it was an accidental death, they would get preferential treatment and all, precisely for being English.
Can anyone explain that ? Why would powerful people like some high ranking politicians get involved in such a mess, taking the risk of all blowing up in their faces, in case the truth comes out?
Reply: The McCanns have got dirt on certain high-ranking Freemasons. This is why they are being protected.

The jaz group that played jaz in the old fort, praia da luz are linked to Robert Murats uncle Ralph Eveliegh and his B&B villa, they are pictured there having a drink with a blond female singer in Salsalito advertisment Spring 2007.
Amarals book states an Irish family named Smith saw a man carrying a small chld down towards the beach who had a good likeness to G M.
The route this man possibly took with a small child was towards the beach, past the church onwards to the fort and the private beach, in a small inlet, maybe the perfect place to hide a body or to hand over a child to a waiting team of conspiritors.

Facts–GM stated he was not on holiday to have fun.
GM sits on the Bristish Neuclear Board as medical adviser.
GM is a hart specialst on NHS and alledged to have private patients.
KM twinns God Father is an IT Guru and channel4 documentry maker,Jon Corner was also Government Media Control expert for Tony Blairs Media Control setup.
RO and JT of Tapas nine both work for Private Equityfd a headhunting firm for top directors, Private Equityfd is linked to conglomerate Broomco.
One Alan Millburn ex-labour minister sits on board of Private Equityfd, set up by one Louis Hunt with funds from AXA.
Milburn is also linked with Cayman Island setup.
MO of tapas fame was mentioned to have links to a property company.
The Titles, Miller and OLDFIELD are way back linked to a conglomaerate titled BROOMCO, This is a massive conglomerate set up by Irish millionare Tom Hunter, Royal Bank of Scotland and the Ruben Brothers.
This conglomerate is also linked back to one (Zadik Bino) also there are are link offshoot companies such as, Webcam, Jaz, Nametags and several of accounts/tax offshoot companies, some now defunct.
There is even a, Alistair Cambell Wembly, and UK DATA run by a Alistair Cambell and Kevin Keenan company based in Ireland with off shoot in Spain.
All these links under the Bino/Broomco conglomerate.
They were discovered while searching for Madeleine through the name Binos as maybe the name (Gabino)Murats property company.
Murats girlfriend works for Remax there is a Remax in Austraila owned by Greg Braithwaite.
Name Braithwaite is also linked to Sunseeker boats owner based in Murats mothers home turf near Devon.
Murat set up property companies (Gabino)and Romigen) these maybe linked to the above.
Robert Murat stated–He was victim of the biggest—– on the planet when he was fingered for Madeleines alleged abduction.
GM stated he was not on holiday to enjoy himself.
KM telephoned her friend Amanda day before madeliene disappeared
One Amanda Hart, channel4 psychic who has also had her child snatched by her ex husband, sets up Amber Connections web site days before Madeleine disapeared.
Amanda Hart has appeared in psychic competition on channel4 along with winner, Welsh psychic Diane Lazarus.
Diane Lazarus hails from Swansea, her husband is criminal lawyer with police contacts.
KM recieved a phone call from a Swansea number, said to be a miss call on morning of the 2nd May 2007.
Someone in close proximity other then the Mccann clan had further telephone contacts with this Swansea number.
One Thomas Slottos is a German IT lecturer in a German collage, he and his wife spends time as a guest in Ralph Eveliegh’s guest house in spring 2007.
One other person working in the same collage as Thomas Slottos, is one Christine Meyer.
A French woman called Meyer also had her two boys snatched by her German ex-husband, she is now marrid to ex-British Embassador for USA, where Amber Alert and Pact were set up, one of these two child alert programes have as head honcho a woman called Meyer, also on board labour wives Cherry Blair, Glynis Kinock.
A (jaz) band singer with shoulder lenght blond hair is photographed in the old fort preforming with her band.
This singer is also pictured in Ralph Evelieghts B&B villa with him behind the bar at SalSalito Villa.
The old fort is on the route the Smiths thought they saw GM carrying Madeleine, did anyone search the OLD FORT or the private beach below it?

I would love to know the real truth about this affair. If as is implied that the McCanns killed Maddie, I am sure they could easily have found one of the many deep wells that abound in that part of the Algarve down which to throw in the corpse.. Poor little thing would be lost without trace and they would never be found guilty or not. So they could lie forever knowing full well that the little girl’s remains would never ever be found. May she rest in peace.

Dear Mr. Amaral,
for years I’m thinking about the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. I would like to know the solution of this case.
When I read your book, I wondered about some details.
In chapter 7 you describe how you got rid of your Shitzu dog. You place it in a plastic bag and drop his remains in a bin.
In chapter 16 you write that neighbours of the McCanns said, that the McCanns transported their bins in the car boot. Where did they bring the bins? Why did they bring their bins somewhere with the car?
Did the police look for a body on the ground where the bins of Vila da Luz were emptied in May 2007?
When were the bins of Vila da Luz the next time emptied after the 3rd May 2007? Where was the content of the bins brought to? Did the police look there for a body?
Why didn’t you write nothing about it?

I would love to get my hands on a copy of your book but I would need it in English. Never once have I doubted the McCann’s are guilty. I have no time for them. That poor little girl and her siblings. How on earth could anyone leave three babies on their own in a foreign country. They of all people, professionals in their working life, no
you just do not do that. Amongst everything. I just cannot understand why Gerry McCann had to leave Portugal to come back home supposedly for photographs. No, it just does not fit. None of it does.
Is there any way your book could be put on line and translated? I must have an English copy somehow.
Thank you for writing it. There must be something to hide when the McCanns will not let it be published here. They are dreadful people as far as I am concerned who have made money out of people by playing on their feelings.

ok well im pretty confused about this story right here, everyone is accusing their own parents of her disappearnce?? they left the door unlocked which was pretty stupid and does lead to some kind of guilt towards their part, but u guys are accusing them when we have no idea what rly happened do that poor girl. Maybe they did plan it all maybe they didnt and hopefully one day the truth with come out but to u mr.amaral u should of never published ur book because in the end what if ur wrong..?
Site Admin: Snr Amaral’s book tells the truth about his time in charge of the investigation in 2007. How can it be “wrong”? The case was shelved as a homicide NOT a case of abduction. That is all indisputable fact.

I found the whole debate about this quite distasteful indeed. I fail to see why Gonçalo Amaral should profit from claims in a self written book, he clearly has no morality profiting from such a dreadful saga.
He has allegedly made many spurious claims in his book, and lets be very clear about this. Gonçalo Amaral was not present at whatever took place and his statements are therefore little more than assumptions at best. Gonçalo Amaral stands apart from the police force and one must consider why, would an innocent detective leave voluntarily, I doubt it.
As for the chosen title of his book “The Truth of the Lie” who is to say what the truth is! I have no intention of buying this appalling mans book. Why do people believe that lining this mans pockets will have any impact on this sad time. Gonçalo Amaral is most definitely the prophet he seems to think he is……
The parents did make such a dreadful action in doing what they claim to have, but unless anyone has irrefutable proof they cannot be proved to have killed the poor child!
Madeleine is missing for sure, dead or alive it is a travesty that the Police in Portugal operates in such a closed way. Had they reacted much sooner and openly perhaps we might have had closure.
The McCanns have defended themselves to the hilt, but let’s not loose sight of the real victim here, Madeleine!!

Get up to speed on the story before you go making wild accusations and spread erroneous assumptions out there. What has money got to do with the book? Amanda Jayne ‘Hart’ talks rubbish. She abandoned her daughter, drove her hundreds of miles to her ex husband’s house, dropped her off and never returned.
Years later, she abandoned husband no.2, leaving him with her other two children while she disappeared to Australia for a new life, whilst attempting to defraud him and her own mother out of well over £10,000. She returned from Australia 6 days later as the fraud was found and stopped; she returned because she had no money.
Much more on UK Skeptics website ‘Here come the psychic predators’ thread and the ‘Maddie Blogs’, written by Amanda and published online by her PR agent, Kizzi Ngwotcha. Ngwotcha removed the blogs after however long but they were copied onto UK Skeptics website.

the mc canns gave maddie to much sedation .i think she was given it in the afternoon thats why kate mc cann carried her home from resturant as she complained she was tired,they probably gave her more at bedtime ,she has taken a reacyion and died .Why did g mc cann say he wasnt there to enjoy himself was it that maddie was starting school and if she was abused it would all come out and they would lose the twins theres something strange going on .

I have questioned the amount of money the MPS are spending on this case to my local MP and now had a reply from the Minister of State.
He states to my question that the McCanns have to be the prime suspects that they were exonerated by the Portuguse authorities.
I have not heard that before so would appreciate your comments.
The amount of public money spent so far by the MPS is currently in excess of £4m.
They have identified around 195 leads.
