English Book

lenquete-interditeThe French title of Gonçalo Amaral’s book, “A Verdade da Mentira,” is, “Maddie: L’Enquête Interdite,” The Forbidden Investigation.

This is the Foreword from the French version.

“Certainly, this book responds to the need I felt to defend myself, having been discredited by the institution for which I worked for more than twenty-six years, without being given any chance to explain myself, publicly or within the institution itself. I made the request several times, but it was never heard. I, therefore, scrupulously respected the rules of the police judiciaire and I refrained from making any comment. But this goes without saying: I experienced that silence to which I was constrained as an attack on my dignity. Later, I was removed from the investigation. It was then that I understood that it was time to speak. To do that, I requested early retirement in order to be able to express myself freely.

However, the purpose of this work is more important: to contribute to finding the truth so that justice can finally be done in the investigation known as the “Maddie case.” Truth and justice are two values strongly anchored within me, which reflect my profound beliefs: they always guided the work I did for the institution to which I am proud to have belonged. Even in retirement, they continue to inspire me and to be present in my life.

In no way does this text seek to challenge the work of my colleagues in the police judiciaire or to compromise the ongoing investigation. I am convinced that the disclosure of all the facts may, in the present case, result in harming the investigation. However, the reader will have access to unpublished information, to new interpretations of events – always with respect for the law – and, of course, to relevant enquiries.

The only objective of a criminal investigation is the search for truth. There is no place for the “politically correct.”

I am gobsmacked and furious that what I am finding online over and over again gives important details conveniently left out by the mainstream toilet rags of record.

I also know not to look up wikipedia again, nothing but lies and propaganda.

Good on Mr Amaral. In the end, the truth always comes out.

Let’s see for how much longer these inadequate parents get away with causing the death of that child (gleaned from many sources but not this book which I have not yet had the opportunity to read).

This book has to be released in English, some printer must be willing even if it has to be ordered online and sent by mail, possibly from outside the UK.

I know it is available online but I would never read a full book on the internet, and I am sure there are many others the same.

Will this book be published in English? I have just come across The Telegraph online publishing incorrectly the following:
’28 April 2015 – McCanns win libel case
Former investigator Gonçalo Amaral is ordered to pay €500,000 to the McCanns for alleging in his book that they faked their daughter’s abduction.’ They should rectify this!

    Thanks for making this known.
I have always been concerned by the (group of) families’ thought process at leaving such small children like this, especially as the McCanns stated that Maddie had asked them why, when they (the children) had been crying the previous night, no-one came.
I am a Brit and am shocked at what I have read so far in this book and seen from the evidence in it, none of which has been reported by the UK press to my knowledge even though I believe the police report is available in full.

Wow I cannot believe the parents have got away with this for this long. If this was any other parent they would have been arrested. Just shows how corrupt MPs are for covering up such a thing. All it took was being rich and friends with Gordon Brown to get away with it. The parents have made a lot of money off killing their daughter and covering it up, even paid off their mortgage. The truth will come out one day… How can you dismiss the facts from the sniffer dogs. Who the hell carries the bin out in their car on holiday? And why did the parents buy a new fridge for the apartment? They prob used the fridge to transport her out the apartment.

    Você pode me atualizar?

    obrigado

    Os meus cumprimentos

English Version of above message, for info –

    Hello,

I recently contacted Amazon to find out when the English version of Snr Amaral’s book, ‘The Truth of the Lie’, would be available in light of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the ban.
They have assured me that they will contact the publisher to request stockpiles of the book and hope that it will be on sale soon.

I understand that the book is available online, but given the public interest and support for Snr Amaral, I believe many, many people would like the opportunity to buy hte real book.

    Can you update me?

    thank you

    Best regards

The book can’t be published here because Gerry McCann doesn’t wish it, and we all have to bend before the great Gerrys demands. However, they have just lost a libel case in Portugal, and that clears the way for this book to be published here. Have a look online, there are English excerpts around, and it makes the McCanns look pretty shady – especially the 39 questions Kate refused to answer. Have a hunt online.

    Tanya Says:

If you look or think back to the interview the morning after she went missing, the Mccanns were not upset at all, sorry but if a mother had her little girl taken she would be inconsolably upset. Kate did not cry or looked very upset at all. Plus dont forget the day after Maddie went missing the Mccans went for a drive and went shopping, why would you that when you child is Missing!!!!

I think they disposed of her that afternoon and used the evening meal with friends as a complete cover up, or where they in on it as that makes you think doesnt. Kate diary says (so I was told) “I wish Maddie would disappear).
