Inspector Amaral

‘CM’ [Correio da Manhã] today starts the exclusive publication of excerpts from the book by Gonçalo Amaral, who believes that Madeleine McCann died inside the apartment at Praia da Luz. The episode of the holidays in 2005, in Mallorca – which raises suspicions about a friend of the couple – and the DNA results are the first parts.

“Madeleine Beth McCann, aged two and a half, and her twin siblings, at that time only a few months old, go away on holidays in the company of the parents, on the island of Mallorca. Three other couples of doctors and their children go along with them. […] S. G. had attended the university in Dundee, between 1987 and 1992, where he met the future mother of Madeleine. K. G. only met Gerry McCann on his wedding with Kate Healy, around 1998, in Liverpool. After that event, the couple S.G. and K.G. become intimate friends with Madeleine’s parents, meeting often, spending weekends together, keeping in touch over the phone.

On the third or fourth night in Mallorca, after dinner, eating and drinking, while sitting around a table on the patio outside the house, K.G. watches a scene that makes her fear for her daughter’s wellbeing, and that of the other children. She was sitting between Gerry McCann and David Payne, when she heard the latter ask whether she, maybe referring to Madeleine, would do ‘this’, then starting to suck on one of his fingers, which he pushed in and out of his mouth, insinuating a phallic object, while at the same time, with the fingers of his other hand, he traced circles around his nipple, in a provocative and sexual manner. At the moment when K.G. looked at Gerry McCann and David Payne with stupefaction, a nervous silence took place. Then everyone continued to chat as if nothing had happened. This episode left K.G. with serious doubts about David Payne’s relationship with children. On another occasion, K.G. would once again see David Payne making the same gestures, this time while speaking about his own daughter. During that holiday period, it was the fathers who usually bathed the children, but from that moment on, K.G. never allowed David Payne to come close to her daughter. After those holidays in Mallorca, K.G. only met David and Fiona Payne on one occasion, and has not spoken to them since.

[…] What is written above was reported to the English police on the 16th of May 2007, only thirteen days after the disappearance of Madeleine, by the couple S. G. and K. G. It was information that was important and pertinent for the investigation. Yet, nothing was transmitted to the Portuguese police.

[…] I think that it was only after I left the investigation, maybe in late October 2007, that K.G.’s deposition was sent to the Portuguese police. It is legitimate to ask: for what reason did the English police, apparently, conceal that testimony for six months? When did they find out that David Payne, who had organized the trip to Mallorca, and who had been signaled with anomalous behaviour towards children, was the same who organized the trip to Portugal, that he was part of the holiday group in the village of Luz where Madeleine had been integrated, that he was the first family friend who could be seen at Kate McCann’s side after the child’s disappearance (as seen further ahead) and that on the date of the deposition he was still in Portugal, and could be confronted with these statements?

[…] In early September, a few days before the McCann couple was constituted as arguidos, Superintendent Stuart Prior travels to Portimão. He brings a first preliminary report [from the forensics lab in Birmingham], and comes to discuss the state of the investigation with us. During a meeting in our office, with the Portuguese and the English investigation teams, Stuart shows his disappointment with the results of the tests. This is where the saga of the FSS reports starts. We read the report and we do not agree with Stuart’s disappointment. The blood residues that were collected from the floor, behind the sofa in apartment 5A, as well as the blood residues that were recovered from the boot of the car that was used by the McCanns, are the issue. We talk about blood residues because the CSI dog is trained to detect only that bodily fluid. The reports that were used to based the decision on, which were written by experts Mark Harrison and Martin Grime, are clear: the CSI dog was used to locate human blood. The Low Copy Number, the technique that is used to determine the DNA from those samples, does not determine from which bodily fluid the DNA comes from. In the first case, it can be read that an incomplete DNA result was obtained, because the sample contained little information, presenting low level DNA indications that come from more than one person. But all the DNA components that are confirmed, match the corresponding components from Madeleine’s DNA profile!

Concerning the second case, after an explanation about the DNA components of Madeleine’s profile, and concluding that it is represented by 19 alleles, it is concluded that 15 are present in the tested sample. This means that 4 alleles are missing to obtain a 100% conclusive match. According to the experts from that lab, those 15 were not enough to conclude, with a high degree of certainty, that we were looking at Madeleine’s DNA profile, even more so because the Low Copy Number found 37 components in the sample. Those 37 components were apparently there because at least three individuals had contributed to that result. Although 15 components from Madeleine’s DNA profile had been found, the result was considered to be complex.

But this first preliminary report went further. In it, the scientist had the unusual care of explaining that in many of the profiles of the lab experts, elements from Madeleine’s DNA profile are present. This means that a good part of the DNA profile of any person can be built by three donors. It is understandable. Two questions were immediately raised. The first one: what use was a DNA profile, in terms of criminal evidence, if it can be the combination of three or more donors.

The other question was simple: why did the DNA profile from those three donors contribute for 15 components of Madeleine’s DNA profile and not that of anyone else, like for example, the scientist who performed the test? But the surprises from the preliminary reports would go even further. […]”

I think it is highly possible and it is only my opinion that Madeline and the twins were drugged on the night in question perhaps due to the fact that Madeline had previously been heard crying on another occasion.(which member/s of the party first came up with this idea, and who was informed? Who was wiling to take advantage of this information, fact) Is it also possible that DP visited earlier on that night to see Kate 30 secs/minutes?to actually witness this drug being administered, or did he personally administer? was DP aware of this and took advantage of Madeline, that she awoke during some form of interference and tried to escape, in her drugged state she may have been trying to escape to warn someone, and was killed? Keep up your quest I am sure the truth will out and you will be proved right about what you believe may have happened in apartment 5a.

I believe that Madeleine’s body was / is concealed less than half a mile from Apartment 5a, and that if new searches are carried out her body will be discovered, and an end to this mystery. I have recently returned from Luz, and I have pinpointed a variety of sites that I feel will / might be productive, in particular, one location…

What parent in their right mind leaves their kids alone in apartment? I thought the idea of going on a family holiday meant just that a family holiday not kids in bed mum and dad clear off out for food and drink. Sorry I know it’s a terrible affair but when our kids were small and we went abroad they’d come everywhere with us even if it meant a late night.

if i could i would go to luz myself and look for the body of maddie, i agree with baz i believe she is not far from where they were staying the truth will come out oneday there is something about those two very odd, would not trust them with my kids and kate was a anesative very interesting so she knows how to keep the kids quite when it suits her

It still disturbs me that those awful people still have the twins, and people in high places walking about without a care in the world after helping these evil people so how evil are they, what are they into and what have the McCanns got on these disgusting people, has any one else heard if GM is on a sex register, it can’t be right can it ? I read it somewhere but have no proof of this now !
Anyway Mr Amarel was a good decent Detective who knew his stuff along with those trained dogs who knew what they could scent blood and death, just so evil!

    chaletgirl99 Says:

if cadaver odor was found on kates clothing, the car and the bottom shelf of K.M and J.M bedroom closet then the case speeks for itself she was killed and also blood was found on the floor behind the sofa. Today new evedence came out that a man bought a ground penitration xray showing disturbed ground that may contain human bones in the resort in luz where the mcanns where staying.

    Observer Says:

When are we going to hear more on the Met Police review? And also, if blood traces and cadaver scent have been detected allegedly by the trained sniffer dogs in Apt. 5a – should there not at the very least be a formal investigation into “who died in Apt. 5a, and when”? If not, why not.

in the latest investigation on the case of madeleine McCann police are saying it was a well planned abduction but if that’s the case why didn’t the abductors make use of the car park at the rear where the window of madeleines bedroom window was it would not have been necessary to break in one could have entered through the patio window and then opened the bedroom window lifted the shutter and passed her to an accomplice.simple

Very interesting but I fear that if we do not know by now we never will.

I did not believe this doctors from the start. They all behaved in the very odd way. They know what happened that night

    steve Says:

i genuinely think there is something very odd about how the whole situatin, i think that kate and gerry definatley know what happend that night, there was no abduction, and the guy that was seen carrying a little girl down towards the beach was infact her dad!!! something sinister has happened, and hopefully it comes out one day….i think they should be looking alot more closley to the area surrounding appartment 5a for sure.
I can remeber ages ago, a picture surfacing in the papers and on the internet, a suspected sighting of maddie on the back of what looked to be an african woman somewhere in morocco/ africa….now this in my eyes was just a ploy to take detectives further away from the true crime scene wich is the apartment and the surrounding areas!!! simple question “if there was eveidence of blood behind the sofa and in the boot of the hire car from maddie, why arent the parents suspects? They know what happened to that little girl, and if it ever comes out that they have, they are two devious horribe people!!!

    Clare Says:

I think this is absurd. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Absolutely ridiculous! It’s very easy to say the abduction could not have taken place, CLEARLY it was a murder yada yada yada. But why on earth would the British police choose to cover it up? Why on earth would they have not discovered her body or real evidence of her death. And you can claim utter rubbish that the Portuguese police said this and that, but you shouldn’t belief everything that you read on the internet or some god awful newspapers. You have forgotten that for the 5th time, Amaral has failed to turn up to the court hearing with the Mccann’s after they have travelled all that way, for what reason does he not want to attend court, if indeed he is so correct? I’m not suggesting that the Mccann’s are entirely innocent (we don’t know) but if there was as solid evidence as you claim, then surely the case would have been solved by now. Very very ignorant comments, I would love to see how you lot would feel being denounced as having murdered your own child, when there is no real evidence. And being preventing searching Praia Da Luz, as people feeling its damaging the touristy feel. Ridiculous!

    Site Admin:
The case is about paedophilia and the elite. This is why there is a massive cover up. A cover up like the one that let Savile get away with child abuse for 5 decades. This is why the McCanns are being protected. They know too much.

  13. 13
    P.Heath Says:

Only now are a few facts emerging about the UK Government/Paedophilia. I think that Maddie was set up to receive a ‘special visitor’,- there being no law against Paedophilia in this particular area – and when her parents returned they found her dead by accident. The gentleman concerned was obliged to leave the country fast! And the parents to cover the whole affair up, which they were able to do with official help – eagerly given under the circumstances!

Site admin: You got it in one!

    Nell Pursey Says:

I do think the McCanns know exactly what has happened to their daughter. They act quite oddly sometimes. They panicked and are now treading a very fine and tight truth twisting trip which I have to say they have become very skilled at.

    Tory Says:

I believe the theory about them hiding her body in the coffin of the lady due for cremation. They had a key to the Chapel, they were given special access so they could pray alone. Her body will never be found, its too late to prove any of that, so they have got away with it.

There are just too many conflicting stories, unanswered questions and very strange behaviour by Kate, as for her disgusting comment made in her own book regarding Madeleine’s private parts…. NO mother would ever think or write about that, her acting skills are letting her down.

I do truly believe that they were involved in her death, be it an accident or deliberate…. there are claims that Kate had asked family and friends to ‘adopt’ Maddy becasue she simply couldnt cope with her and the twins. I dont know how much is true. I also don’t believe we will ever know the truth. I hope the twins grow up to see their parents for what they truly are…. whatever that is.

    Truth Says:

Gerald McCann and Kate Healy were both Doctors, both likely had knowledge of anaesthetics; and took their academic experience into their hands to sedate Madeleine, in hopes of being able to stay up late at the Tapas bar with friends on the Sunday, and likely get a little bit drunk. What parent wouldn’t want to drink with friends without the ‘burden’ of their children? In so many cases I have heard of parents expressing their lack of freedom correlating with the responsibility of monitoring of their children.

Kate Healy, or McCann, claims in her book ‘madeleine’ that she went by the name ‘healy’ prior to the media mass-referring to her as ‘Kate McCann’ the she claims she decided to change her name AFTER the incident to ‘McCann’ – however, this fails to link with the signatures that she allegedly provided at the Crech; for signing in and out during the week up to Madeleine’s disappearance. She writes ‘Kate McCann’ very clearly in each and every of her signatures, not ‘Kate Healy’ that she expressedly emphasized to be her name BEFORE the incident of disappearance. This may point towards someone who knows her on a less personal level signing her signatures for her, not taking into account her preferred name, the name that Kate logically would write in signatures if what she says is true, that being ‘Healy’.

God bless you Mr Amaral. This has ruined your career but not your life.Seeking the truth about the little girls death is no crime. The lie tellers know the truth and they know you know. Stay safe and brave for all of us who cherish our children.

    Ellie Says:

Dear Mr Amaral and all the Portuguese Police who worked so hard on this dreadful case,
I cannot thank you enough for your dedication and your integrity. I am so very sorry some of the English did not support you. Please believe me, we are not child-neglecters in England. Most of us were appalled to learn about how these children were left alone. We still cannot understand why our Social Services are not watching over the twins. Most people think the McCanns are unsuitable parents and have views about them which I cannot print.
Thank you for your impeccable and untiring work to uncover the mystery of this little girl’s disappearance. I am so distressed that your job was not respected but I have serious concerns about why your work was stopped so suddenly. People have printed information concerning Gerald McCann’s closeness to Prince Charles and his knowledge of Princess Diana’s death. Who knows? It is not like the British Police to hesitate when a crime is suspected concerning the disappearance and apparent death of a child. I cannot cope with injustice. Neither for you and nor for Madeleine. We have to keep the case open and maintain the evidence. Thank you to you Mr Amarel. God be with you.
    Your sincerely
    Ellie Ess

I honestly believe that poor Madeline McCann was simply given too much sleepyhead medicine and that tragically ended her life. And so began a fabrication of a possible kidnapping :/ evil parents indeed. And this whole truth WILL emerge over the next few years, you mark my words…
